The university will host the PRC on-the-road program on March 15. The purpose of the program is to accommodate the graduates and professionals for their application and renewal of PRC licenses, for filing of application for licensure examinations. The program helps a lot in defraying the expenses incurred in doing PRC transactions. This is also part of a government program that brings services closer to the clientele. The hosting of this is facilitated by Dean Jasmin Parreño and Dr. Nena Samillano.

The oath taking of the passers of the December 2012 Nursing Licensure Examinations will be on March 13 at the Oratory. This year, there will be 58 new nurses, who will take their oath as Registered nurses. This batch has also produced two top notchers in the persons of Ms. Stephanie Joy Guino-o (9th) and Louise Valerie Abaño. Meanwhile, the Clinical Graduation of the College of Nursing is scheduled on March 16, 2013. |

The Pharmacy Department of the College of Arts and Sciences held their first Pharmacy Coating Ceremony at the Oratory March 06 at 1:30 pm. The ceremony started with the Eucharistic celebration led by Rev. Fr. Jorge Peligro, OAR. At the Coating ceremony, Fr. President gave the Inspirational Message. He also led the coating ceremony with Dean Nieves Pepito, Dr. Vilma Azucena and Faculty members. Lynmar Tagros; Mr. Roduel Gialogo; Ms. Ma. Christina Gensaya, RPh; gave the response in behalf of the students, parents and faculty respectively. Dr. Azucena gave the closing remarks.

Detlev Reuff, an Australian artist held his Photographic and Moving Pictures Exhibition at the Phinma Galley of the Negros Museum last February 23. Reuff has been in the world of advertising and media for almost 30 years. He has covered Movie World Australia, Images for Variety Today publications and Bulletin Newspapers, the return to China of Hong Kong provinces from England, the re-union of East and West Germany: The pulling down of the Berlin Wall, Spiegel Publication and many others. Attended the said event were local and international artists and some MassComm students headed by Dean Nieves Hibaler – Pepito.

An institutional Planning will be held on March 25 and 26 at the President’s Hall. Planning sessions will start at 8 am and will not end later than 8 pm. Day 1 will focus on the university Annual Operational Plan for academic year 2013 – 2014, while Day 2 will be spent for the K to 12 planning. |

The College of Arts and Sciences held its S eniors’ Day 2013 at
the Corporate Hall last February 27. Senior students of the
four departments namely, the English and Mass Communication
Department, Medical Laboratory Sciences Department; Social
Behavioral Sciences, Psychology and Social Work Department; and the
Natural Sciences, Math, Agriculture and Pharmacy Department
together with their department heads were present in the said
activity. Each department were given time to have their
audio-visual presentations, intermission numbers followed by the
messages from their representatives and department heads. The
program was intended to let the seniors gather together and
