The Junior Philippine Marketing Association, as part of the Business Days, conducted a seminar/talk show. It was titled as “Business Chitchat” carrying the theme “Business and Marketing in a changing environment”. It was held at the Fr. Cuenca Hall, 1:00 - 3:30, February 13. Participants were BSBA-Marketing Management students under the advisory of Mrs. Jelyn Gaspillo and Dr. Angelus Diamante. Real Estate magnate Mr. Vladimir Gonzales, Ms. Ellen Marie Jalandoni Vasquez of Mambukal, and Mr. Marlaw Espanola of Bong-Bong’s were the guests of the talk show. The seminar paved way for new learning and inspirations from these business personalities.

Negros Occidental-Recoletos Mass Communication Society celebrates
its Mass Comm days 2013 with the theme “Social Media: Super
changing the youth for tangible change”, February 16, Saturday.

ceremony was highlighted with the photo exhibit of natural pictures
with assigned emotions which shows the social situation of their

Communication student of UNO-R, is proclaimed as one of the top
awardees in the 2013 “The Outstanding Students” (THOS) of Negros
Occidental Awards during the formal rites at Robinson’s Place
Bacolod, February 2. The junior Chamber Bacolod (JCI), a

A gathering of 35 Recollect
Augustinian Youth delegates from UNO-R and Talisay Chapter filled
the Sta. Monica retreat House with songs , dances and prayers as
they held their Formation last January 19-20, 2013. With “FAITH” as
the theme, UNO-R RAY President Donson John Sadava, in his Welcome
Remarks, said that “the faith is the most important of our life
because without it prayers will be useless”. University Chaplain,
Rev. Fr. Abraham Latoza, OAR, in his talk, emphasized a “back
to basics approach” on the Christian youth’s faith, through

The Administration of the Unviersity of Negros
Occidental-Recoletos honored the municipality of Moises Padilla for
producing two achievers this academic year. The university
administration, represented by Rev. Fr. Louie F. Gabinete,
