General Objective:
The College of Engineering aims to provide well – rounded education necessary to produce engineers competent in their specialized fields to anticipate and meet the needs of the region and the country, through a balanced program of instruction and research in both the fundamentals and applied areas of knowledge in keeping with the national goal of economic self-sufficiency through technical development.
Specific Objectives:

Provide a comprehensive and flexible curricula which prepares for specific career positions and designed to meet local as well as national needs.

Provide a vigorous college faculty and promote its continuous growth and efficiency.

Adopt a realistic system of admission designed to encourage students with the right attitudes and aptitudes to pursue careers in engineering.

Create a democratic intellectual atmosphere conductive to learning.

Plan for the opening of a graduate school engineering.

Take an active interest in the professional growth of the graduates.

Provide community services and devise extension programs.

Develop capabilities in research in the various fields of engineering relevant to local needs.
